Elemental
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
ELEMENTAL is a turn‑based tactical territory‑capture game with strategic depth.
It combines simple rules with deep tactics: plan your connections, build enclosures, manage protection, and use bonus moves to turn the tide of battle.
The action takes place on a hexagonal board. You place your elements, which form links with adjacent elements. The more links an element has, the stronger it becomes — this is the key stat for both attack and defense.
The goal is to capture the majority of the board’s territory, or to completely strip your opponent of all their captured lands.
Game modes:
- Play against the computer — features 12 difficulty levels
- Two‑player or three‑player mode — all on the same device
THE RULES ARE SIMPLE: CAPTURE TERRITORY AND WIN
Strength of Elements
Adjacent elements (within two cells) form connections. Connections determine the strength of an element. The more connections, the stronger the element.
Territory Capture
By placing elements on the board, you can create a closed loop. All territory inside the closed loop is captured.
Capturing Enemy Elements
To capture an opponent's element, your element's strength must exceed the opponent's (capture works only within a radius of two cells from your element).
Another way to capture elements and territory is to build a closed loop around the opponent's elements.
Additional Rules
A newly captured element gains protection from capture for 4 turns.
A player who captures an opponent's element receives a bonus extra turn, but no more than 3 turns in a row.
Restriction
Elements cannot be placed directly adjacent to your own elements.
Victory
To win, you need to capture more than 60 cells of territory or take all of the opponent's captured territory.
